There’s something to be said about that little whisper in the back of your head. Often times we bypass this intuition by letting our ego take the driver seat, our fear over power, or letting other’s opinions decide how we rule our lives.
It can sometimes turn into an internal struggle where we don’t always think we know what is right from wrong for us. Following your intuition is not always easy.
Your intuition can be masked in many ways, it could be that little whisper in the back of your head, that dream that keeps popping up while you sleep, or that reoccurring thought; anything that you feel draws you to something or someone. You cannot always explain why you do the things you do, there is just this pull, driving you in a certain direction.
The ultimate career, the guy of your dreams, where you’re meant to live, there is always that thing in the back of our head guiding us to where we need to be in that very perfect synchronous moment.
My intuition had strongly driven me to quit my corporate job and pursue my writing career all the while not knowing what the exact outcome would be. The thoughts about quitting my job became stronger and stronger the more I ignored them, eventually manifesting itself into feelings of sadness associated with my job.
It’s extremely terrifying not knowing what is going to happen but at the same time exhilarating. When my fear creeps in with thoughts about how I am going to make money, or if I will be able to make it as a writer, that fear can be debilitating in that moment. At the same time, there is always this whisper that keeps telling me to hang on just a little bit longer, that there’s something magical happening behind the scenes that will be perfect for me. It’s almost as if I don’t have a choice but to ride this out.
Following your intuition is very important to fulfilling your own unique purpose. When it comes to your relationships, is there someone you cannot for the life of you get out of your head? Over time do they keep popping back into your life? These are patterns we do not always recognize, but there’s usually always a reason for the pull we feel towards specific people.
Everything will come to light, all in due time. Being able to sit in the uncomfortable times, pushing through the unknowingness is not easy by any means. Through these moments we pull from our own internal strength and can really learn a lot about ourselves.
Are you following your intuition in your life? What is driving your intuition? Is there reoccurring patterns or thoughts that seem to keep popping up?
Following your intuition only places you closer to your life path; where, with whom and doing what, are all amazing possibilities within your grasp.
